I could see this as a scene in a story:
She had her back turned, a hand firmly gripping her sword. Control was hard, she hardened her face to avoid the tears and gripped her dress. This wasn't the day she wanted to be ruined, not now; but it was too late. All was lost. She held the sword tighter and raised speak, speaking a small sentence under her breath. "I will draw the sword for you." Was all that escaped, and she kept her expression hidden, not daring to show an emotion; if she let the tears fall, if she gave in, she'd loose it.
Marshall, standing against the tyrannical armies of the Lich, Ice Queen or an evil Gumball
Flame Prince against the armies of the Fire kingdom.
My favorite: None of these. Not anything to do with love.
"I demand death by the hand of a true hero."
"No. I won't harm you."
"Soon I will be gone. Kill me now, powerful mortal."
"YOu have done too much for me to kill you, bella."
"I am spent, young hero. The Lich will soon have me. Spare me the pain of a life of undeath harming others.
"Why must I kill you?"
"Only evil can harm me. Only good can release me. It is the way of hte world."
"If it is as you say..................I will draw my sword for you"
